Shop from Hanover’s Specialty Food Stores

A charcuterie board on table.

From Italian sausage to artisan olive oil, Hanover specialty food stores boast the finest ingredients in town. They’ll help you enhance any recipe, and you can shop online for pickup or delivery. The stores near our Arundel Hills apartments include:

Streets Market

Nestled in nearby Baltimore, Streets Market offers both local and international goods. A local favorite, the shop opened after the founder decided to provide natural and organic ingredients at reasonable prices. In fact, the selection includes fresh produce, sourdough bread, and cheese from around the world. Streets Market offers pickup daily between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

Ostrowski of Bank Street Sausage

A local fixture for 34 years, Ostrowski is known for its fresh sausage. Family-owned and operated, they create their offerings on-site. When you’re ready, you can call for suggestions and the staff is full of recipe ideas. The selection includes spicy Polish kielbasa, country sausage, and bratwurst (Ostrowski’s newest product). Check out their website, and then place your order for convenient pickup.

The Seasoned Olive

After Kathy decided to bring the flavors of the world to Maryland, she opened The Seasoned Olive. She enjoys searching for products you won’t find anywhere else. The award-winning olive oils are sure to enhance your favorite dishes. Flavors include bacon, white truffle, and Persian lime. You can also virtually shop for balsamic vinegar, spices, rubs, and sea salt. For something different, try the monthly subscription box. The first box features oil, pour spouts, a dipping dish, and more. The Seasoned Olive will ship your order to your door.

After placing your order at one of Hanover’s specialty food stores, take a virtual cooking class. You can learn to make sushi, tapas, and other tasty dishes with your new ingredients.
